A Better Calendar is a simple and easy-to-use calendar and scheduler that allows you to keep you events and appointments organized, not to lose any of them. The program features an intuitive but not very attractive user interface. However, it is a very comprehensive utility that offers multiple options and it is fully customizable. You can create as many calendars as you want, print them, import and export them as BCD, HTML, and Vcal formats, or even set them as wallpaper. It includes multiple viewing options that include weekdays, status bar and status filter, and allows you to find events by date or words. You can customize the preset status labels choosing the font, size and color, but you cannot add new ones. As regards the holidays, you can only include those of the United States, United Kindom or Canada, you cannot add holidays of other countries. It includes different display options and set sounds for the interface and alarms. For each day you can add a note, schedule or sound. You can select your own background, with any image you desire. All in all, A Better Calendar is wonderful if you are looking for simplicity and ease of use. It supports 98/ME/2000/XP/2003/Vista. |
